We pride ourselves with providing excellent customer service at LD's Fancydress and we understand that occasionally items that we send out may arrive with manufacturing faults. If the product is faulty and the return meets the criteria and has been accepted by our returns department, customers will receive a refund once the goods have been returned and are in LD's Fancydress possession.
In the case of customers wishing to return items that are not faulty (i.e. either they do not fit, or are unsuitable) then customers must ensure that they send back such items within 7 working days for a full refund.
[*] 7 days from receipt of delivery is defined as the date the goods were received and signed for by you.

LD's fancydress understand you may wish to cancel an order or part order transaction before it is shipped.

If the item has not yet been shipped then you will not be charged any penalty and your credit card transaction will be cancelled/refunded.

All items are inspected before dispatch and this is what we mean by original condition.
Goods you wish to send back must be returned with their original packaging. The item(s) must be without use and in original condition for resale. Any item removed from sealed packaging cannot be refunded. Typically costumes do not come in sealed packaging to allow you to inspect them.
Items Not Refundable
In the interests of hygiene; wigs, underwear, stockings / tights, teeth, contact lenses, eyelashes, false nails, this list is not exhaustive these items cannot be refunded, unless faulty.
Items Refundable / Returns Policy
All items will be inspected upon their return. We regret that goods cannot be refunded where there is clear evidence of wear, or they are not in original condition.
Clear evidence of wear is listed as follows; traces of body odour, smoke, make-up, fake tan and/or perfume, this list is not exhaustive. We kindly request, that you treat all unwanted items in your possession how you would wish to receive them.
Notice: Some costumes may include stockings, underwear, masks, wings, wigs and /or other accessories. These items are supplied in sealed packets separate to the costume. We strongly recommend that customers inspect the costume first. Unfortunately we are unable to process refunds under any circumstances where items have been removed from sealed packaging or there is clear evidence of wear.
The whole product and its packaging must be returned in the same condition you received it. Please do not bend or fold headers cards. All packets, inserts and hangers must be returned. We kindly request, that costumes are neatly folded and placed into their original packaging as this will prevent damage to the goods.You the customer will have to bear the cost of returning the items and to mitigate against the risk of lost post, we recommend recorded delivery is used as a minimum service. In the instances of valuable items an insured service i.e. Royal Mail Special Delivery will indemnify you against damage in transit.
We regret that outbound postage costs are non-refundable. You the customer will have to bear the cost of returning the goods to us.

Returned goods (in-transit) are your responsibility until they reach us. For your protection, we recommend using a recorded delivery and a postal service which includes insurance to the value of goods being returned.
In all instances where packaging has been damaged or goods have not been returned to us in a re-saleable condition, it will be at the sole discretion of LD's Fancy Dress whether to issue a refund.
We're unable to replace or refund any product until the product has been returned to us.
If you require a replacement / alternative item quickly, we suggest that you place a second order and return the unwanted item as soon as possible
We aim to process your refund as quickly as possible, typically within 14 days. During busy periods the refund process can take longer. All refunds will be made within 30 days from receipt of goods back to us.
Any returned goods that we receive which are outside our returns policy will be defined as 'In Dispute'.
After 7 working days following the day on which you receive the goods, it is at the discretion of LD's Fancydress as to whether a refund will be offered. Sometimes goods may be purchased in advance as a present or delivered whilst on holiday, therefore the aforementioned 7 day period can be missed. As a gesture of good will, we are happy to consider a solution on a case by case basis.
